TOMOHIRO MUKAIHIRA

Lighting Designer – Japan

Born in 1983 in Hokkaido, Japan. Joined the lighting design team at a Japanese lighting manufacturer, DAIKO, in 2008 and engaged in various projects for residence, house exhibition and hotels as a lighting designer.  After graduating from MDes in Interior design in Glasgow School of Art in Scotland in 2015 to study light and shadow in a space, also participated in Lighting workshop in Sweden and worked for Lighting Planners Associates (LPA) in Singapore.

LIGHTOWL DESIGNS (former LIGHT GRAFFITI) was established in 2019 in his hometown in Hokkaido, Japan to pursue furthermore regarding beautiful lighting greatly merged with architecture and interior space.
